I get to the be the Ward Girls Camp Director this year for our Stake Girls Camp for church. The Stake has decided that the theme is Hold to the Rod (explained below), and each ward has been assigned one of the Young Women Values. Our ward was assigned Divine Nature (so subsequently, our color is blue). We are supposed to have a flag that relates our value to the theme, and I had a hard time thinking of something but finally I think I was inspired.
Here's the "catch phrase" and banner design I came up with:
Hold to the Rod comes from the Book of Mormon; the Iron Rod symbolizes the Word of God which, if we will hold to it, will lead us back to our Father in Heaven.
The gems in the crown are the colors of each of the 8 Young Women Values.
