I have this shelf (above) full of samples (with fringe samples hanging on the right side and leather samples on the left), then my closet is clear full (below). In the closet the hanging rack is full, then I have a 5 1/2' shelf on one side that is full, pluse samples on the floor and under the bed (the craft room doubles as the spare room). I've got to get creative and start making things so that I can have the space back!
A log of my creative endeavors. Ideas turn to work, work into projects, and sometimes those projects turn into something fun and usable. Scroll through to look at posts or click on a specific label on the right sidebar.

Upholstery Samples
My husband came home from work one day with a bag full of upholstery samples that his work was phasing out and throwing away (so he asked for them and they gave them to him). Of course I was excited to have them, and his work has since then made a stack or a bag for me whenever they are getting rid of more. Every time I get them all stacked and organized, I get another bag and I "have to" go through them all again. Each piece is about 2' square and I only have 1 square of most of the pieces, so I'll have to pick carefully with my projects.
